TICHBORNE HALL BASEMENT SET STORAGE AND

CONSTRUCTION SPACE

On Monday September 29, 2008, a crew met to organize and cleanup the hall’s basement space. The old furnace and oil tank were removed and decisions were made as to which sets and props from past productions could be re-used. A workspace was defined and storage made more accessible. The ‘furnace room’ is now available for some costume and accessories storage after insulation, heat and humidity conditions are met.

A special thank you to Noel Bateman, Doug Boulter, Lynda Boulter, Sarah Hale, John McDougall, Paddy O’Conner, John Pariselli, Peter Platenius, Bernie Slavin, Doug York and Frank York for their efforts to make this space more usable. In addition to the costume area renovation, further work parties will be needed to repair the basement floor and remove trees that are too close to the foundation.

Production of South Pacific April 2006

North Frontenac Little Theatre has been producing community theatre in Sharbot Lake, Ontario since 1979. For the past 28 years, NFLT has produced two plays annually, fall and spring, and a musical every second year.
