
Noel Bateman (Doppelganger: Otto, Fredrick, Feida, Olaf, Heide,
Brunhilda, Hans)
Noel finds living in Parham has really affected him.
Abandoning any remaining shred of masculinity, he attempts to take acting to
new heights. It was fun before; now he’s scared!
Melissa Conboy (stage assistant)
Melissa is a grade 10 student at Sharbot Lake High
School. She lives in Parham. Melissa has been involved by working backstage for
NFLT. She has worked in other plays for school and some churches. She has
enjoyed working with NFLT.
Mike Cota (Baron Biterondernek)
Michael is fourteen years old and currently lives in
the small town of Maberly, Ontario. He attends school at Perth District
Collegiate Institute. He has appeared in the musical “Aladdin” and he has been in many other plays such as “Hard
Candy” and “Jack and Jill”. He was the main character in NFLT’s past production
of “Oliver!” in 2004. He loves having a good time with friends and lives by the
famous quote “Life is a stage”.
Emily Dickinson (Opal Joiner)
Emily is 14
years old and lives in Mountain Grove. She is a grade 9 student at St. John’s
Catholic School in Perth. She has appeared as the evil villain in “Aladdin” and
was a part of 2004’s “Oliver”.
Mark Duarte (Monster)
Mark played the Artful Dodger in NFLT’s Oliver in
2004. He lives in Mountain Grove and enjoys getting involved in various
productions.
Siobhan Duggan (Bella)
Siobhan is 17 years old and a recent graduate of
Sharbot Lake High School. This is the first play she has appeared in with NFLT.
She plans to travel through Europe after Christmas.
Claire Graves (lighting)
Claire, a retired teacher living in Sharbot Lake,
has enjoyed working with NFLT in various capacities over 20 years. She is
learning the complexities of theatre lighting.
Chava Field-Green (Pearl Joiner)
Chava is a grade 10 student at Sharbot Lake High School
where she participates in many extra curricular activities. She has appeared in
The Patchwork Quilt, Anne of Green Gables, Our Town and The King and I with
NFLT. She hopes to add to this list.
Martina Field-Green (poster, sets)
Marina is a local artist who loves being on and off
stage and sometimes confuses the two. In the few hours when she’s awake and not
eating, she enjoys playing music and having fun with her kids.
Sarah Hale (Madam Clara Voyant)
Sarah is once again playing her usual role of the crazy
lady. Otherwise, she is an artist in Arden, and hopes that she usually shows
more sense than her stage personae.
Dawn Hansen (stage manager)
Dawn is a retired teacher, who along with her
husband Dave, lives in Tichborne. She has been involved with NFLT for many
years as stage manager, an executive member and actor. She enjoys travelling,
quilting and spending time with her two grandchildren.
Barry Harding (Harry Pate)
Barry is a teacher at Land O’ Lakes Public School.
This is Barry’s first stage performance since he was the Wise Man with the
myrrh in fourth grade. He has had an awesome experience working with such a
great group of people, and is secretly in love with that cute actress who plays
Etta.
Danielle Harding (Etta Greenleaf)
Danielle earned her B.A. in drama from the
University of Windsor where she acted in and directed a number of plays and ran
her own children’s theatre group. She is enjoying being back on stage after a
lengthy absence, despite the advances from that guy who plays Harry.
Nina Jenkins (producer)
Nina is a long-time member of NFLT and has performed
many jobs for the group over the years. Most jobs were behind the scenes-
producer, publicity, make-up and costumes.
Sarah Magie (stage assistant)
Sarah is a 16-year-old student at Sharbot Lake High
School. She enjoys acting, singing and playing piano. She played Nancy in the
last NFLT production of the musical Oliver!. Sarah is now trying her hand at
back stage work, helping Dawn with props.
Luke Maloney (Giganticus)
Luke is a grade ten student at Sharbot Lake High
School. His first involvement with NFLT was as (one of) the string bass player
in the pit orchestra for Oliver! last spring.
Kevin Melcher (Nick Gillette) (lighting crew)
Kevin is a 17-year-old student who loves the acting
experience. He has been in such productions as “The King and I’ and “Oliver!”.
Paddy O’Connor (sets)
Paddy, who’s retired and lives in Tichborne, has
been involved in many NFLT productions both on and off stage. He was last seen as
Mr. Bumble in Oliver.
John Pariselli (program)
John has been involved with NFLT for 25 years.
Between gardening and the Little Theatre, retirement has been very enjoyable.
Joanne Pickett (sets)
Joanne is a potter and sculptor who lives in Arden,
Ontario. Her last experience decorating sets was waaay back when she attended
High School.
Peter Platenius (set design and construction)
Peter has designed and built many stage settings,
most of which have been successful. Sometimes, we let him act.
Roseanna Redmond (Dr. Einstein)
Roseanna recently moved to beautiful Oconto Lake
with her husband Derek and daughter Amelia. Dr. Frank Einstein is her first
role with NFLT.
Bernie Slavin (lighting)
Bernie has worked on sets for many NFLT productions.
He has also been coaxed onto stage. This is the second production for which he
has worked on the lights.
Karen Steele (Tootiefruittee)
Karen is a life-long resident of Sharbot Lake. She
has been involved in NFLT for 18 years as: an executive member, actress, and
director. She last directed the production of “Never Too Late”. She enjoys
knitting, crafts, hockey and most of all her 2 grandchildren.
Renny Stopford (Professor Wonder)
Renny is a Sydenham High School student who lives in
Mountain Grove. His first appearance in NFLT was in “Oliver!” as the villain,
Bill Sykes. He has thoroughly enjoyed the experience of this production.
Susan Stopford (director)
Susan has been involved in many NFLT productions
with acting, costumes, and now directing. She has found this first time
experience as director one that she wants to repeat (and we hope she will). She
lives with her family in the suburbs of Mountain Grove.
Debbie Sullivan (costumes)
Debbie is very interested in costume design and has
really appreciated the opportunity to work on a production with such a wide
variety of costumes. This is the first time she’s worked with NFLT.
Margaret Sullivan (Dianne Needles)
This is Margaret’s first role in a NFLT production.

Kelly Weatherby (Harriet)
Kelly is 13 years old and is currently attending
Loughborough Public School. She has appeared in many different plays, including
NFLT’s past production of “Oliver!”. She is an avid hockey player and a
dedicated dancer.
Linda Zwier (publicity, Doppelganger dresser)
Linda is a retired teacher who is enhancing her own
education by becoming involved in the Arts. This is the second NFLT production
in which she has participated “behind the scenes”.
